Step 3

What we have done.

looking at the code, you will see i have stripped out a lot of the margins and padding setting, because the base theme already has these set pretty much correctly.
The only settings i haven't changed are those concerning the "body"

You will see that the page has now laid itself out in a better style. The only area that seems completely out of place is the top bar (which has "contact" and "example" text in it.)

What we are going to do

Just for the hell of it, we are going to work from the bottom up, and get the theme a bit closer to what we want.
So lets start with the footer and license areas

We are going back to the base theme for a while so we can concentrate on the parts we are playing with
